Can deliver milligrams of biologics transdermally by leveraging proprietary microneedle technology

The Hero Patch leverages the natural process of diffusion to deliver incredible payloads of medicine.

Once the microneedles effectively penetrate the skin, the surrounding fluid begins to extract the loaded drug molecules.

Throughout the process, the structure of the microneedles remains rigid to ensure consistent penetration.

The final result is a complete delivery of the drug loaded for systemic uptake, and an array of empty microneedles that can be removed.

Above is a representation of the polymeric matrix both before and after drug release. This illustrates how the entire structure of the microneedles is loaded with the desired drug, which is all that is delivered into the body via dermal diffusion.

UNDER THE MICROSCOPE

Unlike coated tip or dissolvable polymeric microneedles, our microneedles leverage a porous structure to dramatically increase drug loading capabilities, while remaining intact throughout the process to ensure efficient penetration.

MORE DRUG LOADING

No reservoir, matrix, or coating required to store the drug. This cutting-edge technology surpasses any drug loading of similar products by at least 10x.

A proprietary fabrication process

LOWER COST & TIME

Many expensive and time consuming processes typically involved with microneedle production are a thing of the past. Our fabrication allows for quick, high-quality, and reproducible arrays at a fraction of the cost.

scalable process

Limited equipment requirements and short curing times translates very well to the mass production of life-changing medicines.

enhanced stability

By maintaining the API and desired formulation in its non-aqueous form, our process is perfectly suited for working with biologics and ensuring stability. Final products generally have increased stability, including at room temperature, which could eliminate the requirement for cold-chain distribution.
